Debbie was married and had three young sons and was expecting her fourth baby when she disappeared from her home in Cross Road, Walmer, Kent in mysterious circumstances between 10pm and 10.15pm on the night of 5 May 1999.

Her white Peugeot car was found abandoned in Walmer but no trace of her has been found since that time.

Her bank account and credit cards have remained unused since that date. There has been no contact by Debbie to any of her family or friends.

An arrest was made in relation to Debbie's disappearance but so far there is no supporting evidence which would enable a successful prosecution in this case.

The arrested person was not charged and was released from custody.

Debbie's husband has moved out of Kent and started a new life with their children. He has obtained a dissolution of their marriage through the process of the Court, as well as a Court issued Certificate of Presumed Death in the absence of her body being found.

Debbie's family are unable to fully move on with their lives until they know what has become of Debbie. They would dearly love to know what has happened to her and firmly believed her to be dead as she was a very loving mother and would never have abandoned her children, nor deserted her parents or brothers and sister.

She was a loving and very loved member of her family. She was a daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt and is exceptionally missed by everyone who knows her.

UPDATE: On 30th October, 2019 ANDREW GRIGGS - Debbie's husband was sentenced to minimum of 20 years in prison after being convicted with her murder.

At trial he pleaded "not guilty" to the charge of murdering his wife Debbie. He was found GUILTY - but has yet to both admit to her murder, or tell the authorities what he did with her body.
