"Congratulations to William Bearden and Cecil Burns, winners of the The Chance Isbell Memorial Fishing Tournament held this past Saturday, September 2, on Lake Henry Neely at Greensport. A total of 59 boats participated in the tournament with a payout of $1200. Chance Isbell passed away in a tragic car accident July 1, 2017. Another tournament date will be announced soon."

Chance was the younger brother of Chase Isbell, Auburn Univ. baseball player;
also 4th cousin 1x removed to Scott Rose, baseball player
7th cousin of Kyle Isbel, Kansas City Royals baseball player
7th cousin 1xr of Jason Isbell, singer/songwriter
