POUND, VA--Mrs. Meta (Lundy) Paragon, 59, entered into eternity Tuesday, December 25, 2012 from her residence.
Meta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, was the former owner/operator of the Coal Miner's Daughter Shop and was a caregiver her entire life. She opened her home to several exchange students. She was of the Christian faith and attended Lone Pine Chapel Church.
Meta was preceded in death by her parents, Mont (Bud) and Cuba (Bolling) Lundy; her sisters Linda Murar and Janice Moore; a cousin Joe Joe Lundy.
Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Tommy Paragon; daughers Laverne Meade (Neil) and Brooke Conway (Ben); 3 grandchildren; a special son Jason Rose; brothers-in-law Donnie Moore and Kent Murar; nieces and nephews; special friends Carol Nash and Jerry Baker; a host of friends and loved ones.
