Mrs. Kathryn W. Perry, 70, of 494 Allens Falls Road, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday morning, September 6, 2017 at her home.

Kathy was born December 14, 1946 in Potsdam the only daughter of the late Harold E. and Gladys Champney Wilson. She attended Parishville-Hopkinton Central School, where she graduated in 1965. She later went to CCBI Secretarial School in Syracuse.

On September 25, 1966, she married Frank A. Perry, Sr. at the Parishville Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Ardsma, officiating.

Kathy was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker to her husband and their five children. She was a lifelong member of the Parishville Baptist Church, where she remained active with many of the church activities. She had a great passion for crafting and loved to knit and crochet – especially mittens and hats. She was an avid snowman collector. She also enjoyed camping with her family, a good hot dog, and eating the many marshmallows her children and grandchildren toasted for her.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 51 years, Frank; her loving children, Frank Jr. and his wife, Helen; Kristen Chevier and her husband, Patrick, all of Fort Jackson; Robin Perry of Massena; Sheila Perry of Potsdam; and Heather Perry of Crown Point; her grandchildren, Patrick Chevier, Jr. and his wife, Karen; Morgan Walsemann and her husband, Tim; Cristale Geiger and her husband, Caleb; Tyler Chevier and his wife, Katelyn; and Frank III, Charles, and Carrie Perry; and her six great grandchildren, Casen, Makenzie, Arya, Camryn, Benjamin, and Anson. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Miss Kitty.

She is also survived by her brothers, Dean Wilson and his wife, Cheryl of Parishville, and Thomas Wilson and his wife, Patricia of Arizona; her sisters-in-law, Gaile Wilson and Louie Wilson, both of Parishville, Jodie Eakins and her husband Chuck, of Parishville; Margie and her husband Hugh, of Winthrop; Mary Jo and her husband Rich, of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Alan and Steven Wilson, and a sister-in-law, Rose White.

Friends may call Friday 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM with Pastor Ken Hammel, officiating. Committal services will be held Saturday 10:00 AM at the Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery, c/o 235 CR 49, Fort Jackson, NY 12965 or the Parishville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
