Glen attended rural schools and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1933. In May of 1936, he began working for Federal Land Bank Association of Bloomfield transferring to Sheldon, Iowa, Federal Land Bank Association in 1939 and later transferred to West Union, Iowa, in 1942. In 1946, Glen transferred to Fort Dodge, Iowa, as President and Manager of Fort Dodge Federal Land Bank Association and retired in 1978 after 42 years.
He married June Sloan of Bloomfield on Nov. 17, 1940.
Glen was a member of the First Congregational Church of Fort Dodge, a 50 year member of the Fort Dodge Masonic Lodge and a 50 year member of the Fort Dodge Noon Lion's Club.
He was survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, three grandchildren, and a sister.
