Jeff Pierce passed away peacefully in Bellingham on September 1, 2017. He was born to Ray and Anita (Hill) Pierce on March 8, 1962 in Bellingham. Jeff attended grade school at Sunnyland Elementary, Middle School at Whatcom, and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1980. He loved all animals, especially his best friend, Taco the Chihuahua. Jeff touched many with his love and kindness at the dog parks he frequented and at Starvin' Sams in Fairhaven, where he worked for nearly 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers David (Brenda) and Brian (Trina) of Bellingham and Michael and wife Karen of San Antonio, Texas, half-sister Linda (Fred) DeVeau of California, nephews and nieces Bryan, and Matthew Pierce, Nicole Uribe, Cody Pierce, Amber Horn, Christopher, and Faith Pierce, and many loving relatives and friends. He is now in the loving arms of the Lord. A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at Salvation Army, 2912 Northwest Avenue with a reception following at the church and then a burial service at Bayview Cemetery.
