Bob Coyle, age 80, of Strong City, KS died Monday, July 24, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. The son of Joseph Clark and Mary (Douglas) Coyle, Robert was born August 12, 1936 in Tucson, AZ. He served in the U.S. Army.
He and Lois Marie Jewel were married June 1, 1957 in Wichita, KS.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, of Strong City; a son, Scot Coyle (Darlene) of Fredonia; grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Lawyer; a brother, Eugene Coyle; and three sisters; May Coyle, Barbara Ann Fox and Mildred Jewel.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 29, at 1 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church in Emporia, KS. Burial will follow in Prairie Grove Cemetery west of Cottonwood Falls.
