Deacon Ezell Miller, affectionately known to all as "Blo Miller", entered into eternal rest and the bosom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 4, 2017. Deacon Miller was born on March 3, 1940 to the late Yate and Lena Miller. He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Miller and five siblings, J.D (Buddy) Fearn, Leroy Miller, Willie Mae Bowman, Mary Jolly and Nannie L. Holloway. Deacon Miller confessed his eternal hope in Christ in December of 1980, and was baptized by the late Elder Eugene Lewis. He faithfully served as a Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Advisor and Van Driver at Greater Mt. Carmel P.B. Church for over 30 years. Throughout the years, he was an ever present delegate and servant to the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Association. He tirelessly served God and Greater Mt. Carmel P.B. Church until he transitioned his church membership to the Little Indian Creek P.B. Church, under the pastoral care and guidance of Elder Dr. Jerry L. Crutcher. He served his church faithfully until his health began to fail. Deacon Miller attended Madison County Schools and was a cherished and loved employee of The Huntsville Housing Authority for 30 years. He leaves to cherish precious memories: his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Jacqueline Hammonds Miller; his sons, Mr. Ezell Miller, Jr. of Inglewood, CA, Mr. Darryle Miller (Latisha) and Mr. Raynard Ward (Alicia), both of Huntsville, AL; his daughters, Mrs. Temeka Miller-Thomas (Ricky) of McCalla, AL and Ms. Demetra Ward of Madison, AL; his oldest grandson, Mr. Jamison A. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Little Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church (884 Indian Creek Road, Huntsville, AL 35806) with Elder Jerry Crutcher.
