Mary Louise Phillips Wales, 79, of Rt. 2, Elwood, died Friday at Mercy Hospital.
She was born March 9, 1913 in Elwood, the daughter of John (Jack) and Elizabeth Jones Phillips.
She was a secretary and a graduate of Indiana Business College. She was a member of national Secretaries Association, Sigma Phi Gamma sorority and First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years. James W. Wales, and two nieces.
Services will be private and there are no calling hours. Arrangements were handled by Copher and Fester Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of North Center Indiana, Elwood office.
