Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips, Succumbs This Morning Following Heart Attack
Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips, 52, wife of John Phillips, residing at 1415 South G street, died at the Mercy hospital at 4 o'clock this morning.
The daughter of David and Maria Jones, she was born in Wales November 17, 1885. On September 26, 1911, she was united in marriage to John Phillips.

Mrs. Phillips was a fine christian woman and was held in high esteem by her many friends. She was a member of the First M. E. Church and was affiliated with the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving besides the husband are one daughter, Miss Mary Louise Phillips at home; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Beebe and Miss May Jones, both of Elwood, and two brothers, Idris Jones and Harold Jones, both of Elwood.
Funeral Saturday.
The body was removed to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. It will be returned to the family this evening.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. S. L. Yoder pastor of the First M. E. Church, in charge. Burial will be made in the city cemetery.
