She is survived by her soul-mate and husband of 24 years, Mark; two daughters: Lisa (Ernest) Smith of Boca Raton, FL, and Vicki Moore of Corning; two sons, Ed (Julie) Moore of Corning and Michael (Sarah) Moore of Hammondsport, NY; her mother, Iona Krause of Painted Post; sister, Donna Stastyshyn of Monterey; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; stepchildren: Matthew (Judy) Graves of Womelsdorf, PA, Michelle (Thad) Hubler of Virginia Beach, Melanie Graves of Waynesboro, PA, and Scott (Nicole) Graves of Painted Post; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and stepsister, Margaret Greene of Corning.
Carol was predeceased by her stepbrother, Walter Krause; stepfather, Pershing "Bucky" Krause; and a special grandmother, Hazel Potter.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 10 - 12 Noon at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street, Corning where funeral services will follow at 12 Noon with Rev. Matthew Pickering officiating.
Burial will be in Coopers Plains Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
