Sean Michael Flynn, 18, of Souderton, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2017.

Born December 6, 1998 in Abington, he was a son of Michael J. and Jennifer (Mannino) Flynn. He was a 2017 graduate of Souderton Area High School and had recently enrolled at Welder Training & Testing Institute in Allentown. He was also employed at Boston Market in Towamencin.

Sean was a participant in community and school basketball, baseball and soccer. He was the goalie for the Souderton Area High School J.V. Soccer Team during his sophomore year. He enjoyed taking part in fantasy football and was an expert at sports statistics. He and his father were proud to have traveled to 26 of the 32 major league baseball stadiums. Sean was known for his sports jerseys collection and his keen sense of humor. He was always willing to help a friend and will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was survived by a brother, Liam Flynn; maternal grandparents, Samuel Mannino, Jr. and Janet Mannino; paternal grandmother, Bertie Flynn; aunts and uncles, Samuel Mannino, III and his partner, John Bisig, Theresa Krier and her husband, Curtis, and Jeannette Weil and her husband, Mike; numerous cousins; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Flynn.

His funeral mass was held at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Hatfield, PA. Interment was private.
