Susannah ALDRIDGE is the daughter of William (Alldredge) ALDRIDGE III and his wife Elizabeth SYMONS of Orange County (Now Randolph), North Carolina.

Susannah ALDRIDGE, age 28, married Captain William YORK, age 30, on 31 October 1786 in Randolph County, North Carolina.

The ten children of Susannah and William YORK are:

2. Eleandor "Nelly" Ruth YORK
3. Jane "Jinny" YORK
4. Permelia YORK
5. Thomas YORK
6. James YORK
7. William YORK Jr.
8. Mary YORK

William and Susannah with their young family migrated to Georgia to claim their land in Lincoln County. William York and Susannah most likely had ten children most of them were born in Hartwell, Hart County, Georgia. She died about 1820 in Georgia, perhaps at child birth with the tenth child.
