77, of Fairdale, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 He was a retired machinist at Phillip Morris, member of Fairdale Christian Church, South Park Country Club, Kentucky Colonel and a Marine Corp Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Regina Knott Stinson, sons; Daniel (Amy), Jason (Monica), grandchildren; Aaron Stinson (Jessica), Brandon Stinson, Haley MacGeorge, Allie & Noah Stinson, sister, Diane Miles (Steve), brother, Gary Stinson (Kathy) and also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins and his great aunt Laverne Stivers.

Family would like to thank Audubon ICUB for their special love & care.

A celebration of his life will be 12 Noon Friday, September 8, 2017 at Fairdale Christian Church 9000 Brown Austin Road with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 12-8 p.m. at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Road and also 10 a.m. at his church until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children or Fairdale Christian Church.
