She was born September 19, 1967 in Gorman to George Rodgers and Patsy Ruth Callaway Rodgers.
She graduated from Gorman High School in 1987. She grew up in the Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bingo, penny toss, and attending social activities.
Sara is survived by her sister, Vonne Ingram and husband, Lucky of Graham; nieces, Melody Ingram and Harmony Chestnut and husband, J.B.; uncles, Ed Rodgers and wife, Ruthie, and Jim Rodgers and wife, Donnie; aunts, Linda Rodgers and Kathy Frazier and husband, Larry; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded by her parents; and brother, Tommy Rodgers.
