David Earl Wesley, 69 years of age, of Mountain View, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri.

David was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on August 29th, 1948, son of the late Earl Edward and Bessie Jane Pickett Wesley. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

David was survived by two sons, Roger (and Jadonna) Wesley of West Plains, Missouri and Richard Wesley of Arizona; two daughters, Sonia Wesley of Florida and Terrie (and Tony) McBride of Mountain View, Missouri; one brother, Ralph Wesley of Science Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Sue Roberts of Science Hill, Kentucky, Donna (and Bill) Adams of Somerset, Kentucky, and Judy (and Paul) Pond of Eubank, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Ryan (and Heather), Michael (and Danielle), Hannah, Stephanie (and Andy), Christopher, Kassandra, Katherine, Rylie, and Kyle; twelve great-grandchildren, Evie, Amber (and Houston), Whitney, Paris, Ariel, Mollie, Callie, Ellie, Lillie, Quinten, Corrine, and Kaitlyn; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Wesley, who departed this life on March 18th, 1985 and Bessie Wesley, who departed this life on May 2nd, 2004; his loving wife, Delberta Gilbert Wesley, who departed this life on November 4th, 1999; one granddaughter, Jeana Del McBride; and one brother-in-law, Jim Roberts.

Visitations were held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 in the Chapel of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Committal Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky with Brother Johnny Dunbar officiating.

Military Honors were conducted by the American Legion Post No#38 Honor Guard.

His pallbearers were: Roger Wesley, Ralph Wesley, Richard Wesley, Logan Wesley, Tyrone Wesley, Tony McBride, and Bill Parker.
