She was born December 8, 1927, in Council Bluffs, to her parents, Burnie O. Kirkpatrick and Dorothy H. (Rhodes) Kirkpatrick. Goldie lived most of her life in Council Bluffs. She attended Roosevelt Elementary and Thomas Jefferson High School. Before having a family Goldie worked for Sunshine Bakery in Omaha, Neb.
Cremation was done and burial will be at a later date.
