Walter A. Lester Jr.
Washougal - A merchant marine for 30 years, Walter Allen Lester Jr., 81, died in Vancouver on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002.
Mr. Lester was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Welch, Okla., and lived in Washougal the past three years.
He is survived by one daughter, Katherine Ross of Vancouver; two sons, Walter A. III of Washougal and Rodger of Parker, Ariz.; four granchildren and six great-granchildren.
There will be no service.
Buria will be in Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas was in charge of arrangements.
