Phillip Jarrett
(1750-1802)

Phillip Jarrett is the son of Daniel Jarrett. On the 1800 United States Federal Census, Phillip is listed in Lincoln County, North Carolina, along with two of his brothers, John Jarrett and Samuel Jarrett.

Colonel Yoder states, "Phillip Jarrett was the first man to be buried in the graveyard at Grace Church. He was a single man." Phillip Jarrett never married. Phillip died interstate. On October 04, 1802, Phillip's brother, John Jarrett (1758-1829) and David Shuford, bound themselves in Court to become the administrators of Phillip Jarrett's Estate. They are to make a true and perfect inventory of Phillip Jarrett's Estate.

When Phillip dies in 1802, his brother John Jarrett (1758-1829) and Daniel Conrad go to court to become the Administrator of his estate. Usually during an Estate Inventory, if the wife is alive, you will see her name on the inventory list, either by her name or listed as widow.
