Thomas Lee Decker, age 70, of Martin, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA.
Born April 21, 1947, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late A. T. and Sara Lee (Kesler) Decker. He was a graduate of Lavonia High School and a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served during the Vietnam War. Thomas was a member of the Lavonia VFW Lodge # 5897 and the Lavonia Moose Lodge # 352. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his son: Shannon Decker; and sisters: Doris Sapp and Dorothy Henslee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Emily Roberts; and former wife: Revonda (Slater) Harbert.
The graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Franklin Memorial Gardens – North with military honors.
