Karen A. (Weckman) Rodgers, 70, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2017.

She was born in Massillon on March 14, 1947 to Laverene and Betty (Weise) Weckman.

She retired from Portage Family Medical Practice.

Karen founded the Follow That Dream an Elvis Fan Club, was active with SCCA Racing and loved to travel to events. She was also a huge Massillon Tiger Football Fan. Karen was known for her open and loving personality, dedicated to her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Rodgers; children, Danielle (Daniel Obodovski) Rowley of San Diego, CA and Daron Rowley of Canton South; four grandchildren, Katie, Justin, Nicholas and Nathaniel; and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Presley.

Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 1pm-3pm with a Celebration of Karen's Life will be held at 3pm, Pastor Eugene Lingenhoel, officiating. Friends will gather again on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11am in the funeral home until traveling to Massillon Cemetery for burial at 12pm.
