McAllen - Glen Wayne Faulkner, 90, died September 3, 2017 in Edinburg, TX. He was born in Iowa and farmed there from 1946 -1959. During the Korean conflict, 1951-1953, he joined the US Army where he was a Cpl. in the 682nd Combat Engineer Battalion He was manager of Modern Gas Co. from 1959-1963, then he worked with Guarantee Life Ins. Co. in their financial programs (Mutual Funds), Davidson Realty in Des Moines, Iowa, AAA Motor Club, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, NFIB-National Federation of Business and NWYC-National Write Your Congressman.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Delia; daughters, Maria Remson (Paul) of Houston and Carmela Chartrand of The Woodlands; and three grandchildren, Sophia Remson and Ethan and Emily Chartrand.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wed., Sept.6, 2017 at the RGV State Veterans Cemetery.
