Mrs. Nora Baker Strickland, age 92, of Dallas, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2003. She was born November 24, 1910 in Norcross to the late Reese and Arzie Baker. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Nathaniel Strickland Sr. Surviving are her son, Noah Strickland Jr. of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Hubert Rogers of Pelham, AL. and Shirley and Laverne Farr of Dallas; sisters, Cora Strickland of Douglasville, Lillie Mae McEver of Atlanta, Annie Ruth Miller and Mary Grace LeCroy, both of Carrollton; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Don Voyles officiating. The interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 17 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home. The pallbearers are Robert and Randy Farr, Thomas Rogers, David Strickland, Jeff White and Joel Young. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
