"Mrs. Edna Zeh Kindt, 86, of Cedar Street, Schenectady, died Thursday at St. Clare's Hospital. Born in Sloansville, Mrs. Kindt was a sales clerk at Hurley's Card Shop for 10 years, at Ace Photo for 10 years and at the former Passmore's Card Shop for five years. She was a member and former president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 357 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the bingo committee. Mrs. Kindt was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 271, George Hope and White Shrine, both in Schenectady. Mrs. Kindt was a Lutheran. Her husband, Harry J. Kindt, died in 1967. Survivors include her companion, William Schorpp of Schenectady; a daughter, Joan A. Geier of Rotterdam; a son, Harry 'Bud' Kindt of Esperance; a brother, Philip Zeh of Schoharie; a sister, Helen Leaman of Sprakers; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Feeley-Nuzback Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia. Spring burial will be in Sloansville. Calling hours will be from 3 until the service on Saturday at the funeral home." (Source:
