Terry Paul Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery. Ms. McCormick passed away on Friday September 1, 2017 in Houston.
Sandra Sue McCormick was born on July 14, 1955 in Houston to Clovis James and Mary Ann (Collins) Carter. Ms. McCormick worked for Houston Trust Company in Houston.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Carter of the home: Brothers- Randy Carter and wife Debbie of Bonham, Bill Carter and wife Dendy of Honey Grove, TX.; and Wayne Carter and wife Amy of Houston. Nieces- Lisa Dorris and husband Daryl of Bonham, Amanda Johansson and husband Brad of Prosper, TX.; Roxanne Carter of Lake Elsinore, CA.; and Mazzy Carter of Houston. Nephews- Cody Carter and wife Melissa of Honey Grove, and Eli Carter of Houston. Great Nieces- Madelyn Dorris, Ava Johansson, Brayln Johansson, Kayden Hughes, Ava Hughes, and Paisley Carter. Great Nephews- Jamison Dorris and Camden Carter. Aunt- Winona Gerdes of Denton, TX.. She is also survived by lifelong special friends, Susan Murphy, Martha Murphy, and Gloria Garza, and numerous other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clovis James Carter and her great niece, Cambrey Blair Carter.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Carter, Wayne Carter, Bill Carter, Cody Carter, Daryl Dorris, and Brad Johansson.
Family visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
