Carl E. Keller, 78, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday September 3, 2017 at 1:06 am in his residence. He was a retired general contractor and worked for Wolohan Lumber and was currently working at Niehaus Lumber. Carl was born October 15, 1938 in Clay City to Wayne Keller and Mabel (Knight) Keller. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn “Sue” (Gaskins) Keller; sisters-in-law, Karen Gaskins, Pauline Gorby, and Rosemary Keller; brother-in-law, Charles Gaskins; special great niece, Sadie Abrams, special niece, Bailey Gaskins, special friend, Hailey Burns and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard and Lawrence Keller and a brother-in-law, Willard Gaskins. Carl loved to travel and enjoyed working in his yard. Graveside services will be Thursday September 7, 2017 at 11:30 am in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Zachary Manton officiating with burial to follow in the cemetery. DeBaun Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Backdoor Food Pantry, 303 S.
