Billie Jan (Powell) Snyder, 66, died at her residence on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. She was the wife of Bruce Albert Snyder, to whom she was married eight years. She was born on April 12, 1941, the daughter of the late Arthur Powell and Emily Lasbury Powell. Mrs. Snyder loved to cook and her passion was to feed the community through entertaining and catering. She loved spending time at the campground in her swing under her apple tree and going to the lake. She was a avid shopper and regularly attended auctions. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as family and friends. She was a member of the U.C.C. Women's Guild. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her son, Daryl L. Camp of Manchester, Md.; daughters, Kimberly J. Curtis of Minnesota, Audrey Anne Warren of Lineboro, Md., and Belinda B. Coffey of Tanyetown, Md.; stepsons, Brian K. Snyder of Kingwood, W.Va., and Kevin B. Snyder of Manchester, Md.; stepdaughter, Stacy L. Goff of Newburg, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; four stepgranchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald and David Powell, both of New Jersey, and Paul Powell of Florida; and a dear friend, Debbie Hanson.
