Mrs. Rita Elizabeth White Carson, age 72 of Sikeston Missouri, formerly of Murray, Kentucky died, Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
She as a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ; she was a former employee of the Murray Calloway County Hospital working in the business office for over 20 years.
Mrs. Carson was born in Murray, Kentucky on March 3, 1942 to the late Jack and Margaret Hughes White. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by on grandchild, Chase Allen Boggess.
She is survived by; two daughters, Terri Boggess and husband Joey of Murray, Kentucky, Kathy Starks and husband Terry of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Mickey Carson and wife Stacy of Thompson Station, Tennessee; two sisters, Jackita Snelling of Louisville, Kentucky and Claudine "Shorty" Blakeley and husband Butch of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren and one great grandchild and Jim Carson of Murray, Kentucky also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, December 29, 2014 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale will officiate with burial to follow in the Green Plain Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the funeral home.
