Actor. Born in Boston, Massachuetts, he was an off Broadway stage perfomer when he made his big screen debut in "Sisters of Eve" (1928). His other flim credits included "The Lost Special" (1932), "One More River" (1934), "Temberesque" (1935), "Diamond Jim" (1935), "Show Boat" (1936) and "Maid of Salem" (1937). He died of pneumonia at age 72 in Los Angeles, California.
