Mr. Hudson was born in Arab, Alabama on February 28, 1956 to Desso and Doris Ford Hudson.
He was a 1974 graduate of Asheboro High School and was employed with Georgia-Pacific.
Phillip was a member of First Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Desso Hudson and brother, Steve Hudson.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Ford Hudson of Asheboro, NC; and several family and friends.
The family will greet friends at Gober Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 4, 2017. A Graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Arab City Cemetery.
