Amy Lynn Long, 46, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Thursday August 29th, with her loving family by her side, in Reading Hospital, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was married to Brian M. Long. Born in the Reading Hospital, she was the daughter of Dennis Delong and Ruth (Greif) Delong. She was employed by Berks County Intermediate Unit as a Supervisor for CCIS. She was a 1985 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School. She received a Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Keiser University in Florida. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and loved her pet dog Moby.
She was a member of Community Evangelical Church in Sinking Spring. Additional survivors include three sons and a daughter. Two grandchildren. Also, a brother and a sister. A Memorial Service will be Tuesday September 3rd at 7 pm in Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Rd., Sinking Spring, PA 19608 with Reverend Michael Snedeker officiating. Friends may attend a visitation with the family on Tuesday from 6 pm until time of service in the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, PA 19605. The Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
