Beth A. Jackson, 49, of Indianapolis, formerly of Greensburg, died Thursday (Jan. 6, 2005) in Regency Place at Castleton in Indianapolis.
Born May 6, 1955, in Greensburg, she had lived there and in Jeannette before moving to Drums, where she lived three years. She moved in Indianapolis 18 months ago.
Mrs. Jackson was a clerk/postmaster for 14 years at the Latrobe Post Office.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Jackson; a son, Mark Sawinski of Jeannette; a stepson, Stephen Jackson of Monaca; a stepdaughter, Amy Jackson of Apollo; her father and stepmother, Earl and Donna Anger of Harrison City; her mother and stepfather, Jane Null and Peter A. Spino of Greensburg; and a sister, Laurie Lacher of Pittsburgh.
Also surviving is a nephew, Luke Lacher.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo, with the Rev. John T. Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
