JUANITA CLYDE NELSON was born March 18, 1945 in Birmingham Alabama to Lewis Clyde and Ethel Ree Barnes.

Juanita was the eldest of three siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Ethel, son Lawrence and an unborn son. After the death of her mother Ethel she was raised and adopted by her maternal grandmother Angeline Wilson in 1950.

She graduated in 1961 from Hooper City High School Birmingham Alabama. At an early age she was baptized and accepted Christ as her Savior in Birmingham, Alabama.

In 1962 Juanita moved to Fort Wayne Indiana working at various places such as General Electric (GE) and TNT Tailoring. She was the Minister of Music of Good Hope Baptist Church for over 40 years.

She was married to Joseph E Nelson on July 16,1966.

Without a warning death plucked a beautiful flower from our garden on Thursday May 25, 2017 and Juanita was called from labor to heavens reward.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter; two sons; her brother Jimmie Barnes (Willie Dean); sister, Pamela Carter (Willie) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
