He is survived by his daughter Jody Sadler, his granddaughters Stacy Potter and Stephanie Potter, two great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Johnny raced cars in Brewerton, NY in his younger years. He worked as an auto insurance adjuster and auto mechanic until retirement. He enjoyed racing, restoring cars, car shows, car clubs, making people laugh, and spending time with his family and friends.
Friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life to be held this Thursday, September 7th from 4:00-7:00PM at the Constantia VFW.
In lieu of flowers, John requested that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
