Clarence H. McDonald, Jr., 80, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Clarence was a retired employee of Geoghagan Roofing Company and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Willie May McDonald, Sr.; and siblings, Clarene Ritter, Betty Ritter, Albert and Joe McDonald. Clarence is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian Moore McDonald; one daughter, Sherry Jo Reichle (David); son, Clarence "Troy" McDonald (Kitten); siblings, Mildred Dailey (Edward), Bobby McDonald (Karen), and Michael McDonald (Pam); along with three grandchildren, Bobbi Bauer (Justin), Tara McCullough (Tony), and Keith Casey (Carrie); & five great grandchildren, Jade, Kaiden, Ethan, Kensie, and Kailey. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorial gifts are suggested to his church or Hosparus of Louisville.
