Not much is known about her. She died in a car accident near the area which is now known to the locals as Penn Warner Lake (Van Sciver Lake). The old legend of Midnight Mary is attributed to her but the evidence does not add up. The legend of Midnight Mary is that a young woman coming home with her boyfriend from the prom was killed in a car accident.

There are old news clippings saying that Spring dying in a car accident with her boyfriend at that location, however, she was 26 years of age at her death so the prom night story may be a bit farfetched.

Gravesite Details The grave is in a very old cemetery. Be extra careful walking due to headstones that may have fallen or sunken into the ground over the last 300 years.
