Bobby Doyle departed this life on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at the age of 72 years, 4 months, and 4 days. He was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on April 20, 1945, the son of Dorothy Prater and the late Bentley Brown Doyle. On April 5, 1963, he was united in marriage to Nancy Catharyn Worley, who preceded him in death on June 19, 2001.

Bobby spent many years on the Tennessee River musseling for shells. He had also worked at Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and most times could be found tinkering on something. Bobby loved spending time with family and friends. He had an outgoing personality and character that drew people in and he seldom met a stranger.

In addition to his mother, Dorothy Prater of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, April Jeanine Doyle Fields and Brennan Paul Doyle, both of Savannah, Tennessee and Bobbie Wren of Corinth, Mississippi; granddaughter, Catharyn Marie Casteel; sister, Judy Smith of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Terry Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri; sister-in-law, Debby Weaver of Jackson, Tennessee; nephews, James H. Doyle of Counce, Tennessee and Joe Hebert of Adamsville, Tennessee; and nieces, Patricia R. Doyle of Nashville, Tennessee and Leslie Rossman of Savannah, Tennessee.

Along with his father and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Don E. Doyle.
