Chad Alan Foster
April 26, 1982 - September 1, 2017

Chad Alan Foster, 35, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017.

Funeral service will be held 10 am Friday, September 8, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Stinnett with Pastor Kade Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm. Chad will lie in state beginning at noon on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests his memory be honored with a gift to his children through Happy State Bank.

Chad was born April 26, 1982 in Borger to Lisa Mansfield and Brett Foster. He married Kristen Brown on December 29, 2007 in Stinnett. If you knew Chad, then you knew he had a big heart. He was generous in giving to 24hrs In the Park and was instrumental in founding Amarillo Mountain Biking Group which raised money to buy bikes for kids in need in Hutchinson County. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed mountain biking, water skiing, snow skiing, camping and playing paintball. Chad liked to wheel and deal, but unlike most he was good at it.

Nothing meant more to Chad than his family, especially his children Carter and Kinzley, they were the light in his life. He and Carter had a saying. Chad would say, ''You're my best friend,'' to which Carter would reply, ''No, you're my best Dad.'' Kinzley, more affectionately called Sissy or Tooter Bucket by her Dad, truly had him wrapped around her finger in every sense of the words.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Mansfield, Jeri Holmes, Peggy and Van ''Bozo'' Foster and Melba Sargent.

Survivors include his wife, Kristen of Stinnett; son, Carter Aiden Foster; daughter, Kinzley Dae Foster; father, Brett Foster and wife, Cindy of Borger; mother, Lisa Sargent and husband, Norm of Borger; brothers, Mick Foster and fiancé, Lulu of China, Brandon Sargent and wife, Kayla of Trophy Club, Brody Hermesmeyer of Borger and Brady Hermesmeyer of Borger; grandparents, Dennis Nelson of Stinnett, Leroy Sargent of Fritch; mother-in-love, Karla Wade and husband, Randy of Oklahoma City, father-in-love, Bobby Brown and wife, Kory of Fritch; and a host of extended family.
