Funeral services were Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Randy Wall . Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Terri was born in Cabarrus County on February 14, 1948. She was the daughter of Nevin Wayne and Betty Lee Furr and stepdaughter of the late Darrell Cranford. She was a graduate of Winecoff High School(class of 1966) and Evans Business College. In 1966, Terri went on a date to the Concord-Kannapolis bell game, aka "The Mud Bowl." From that day on Terri was attached to her date, Leonard, and a was a loyal Spider fan. She also liked the Panthers and watching sports. She enjoyed eating at the Stag 'n Doe regularly as well as breakfast at Troutman's Barbecue. She loved the beach and her Winecoff classmates. She had a passion for animals. She was one of the founding members of the Cabarrus Humane Society. Above all else, Terri loved her husband, her children, and beloved grandchildren.
Mrs. Frye is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Leonard L. Frye; Sons, Brian Frye and wife Cissy, Jason Frye and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Jesse, Joanna, Jaxon, Jaleigh Frye and Jessa ; and great grandson, Turner.
