According to "The Genealogy and History of the Ingalls Family in America" by Charles Burleigh, 1903, page 129: Ellen Augusta Ingalls married Samuel Hiram Lindsay and had six children. The second child was Eddie H. born April 25, 1857 and died October 15, 1858.
Eddie is a cousin to two other children buried in the Fort Hill Cemetery:
- Hettie L. Lindsey (1856-1859) memorial #182937661, daughter of Jacob D. Lindsey
- Lettie Willson (?-1868) memorial #26854581, daughter of Rachel Ann (Lindsey) Willson
