TAYLOR, Nicholas W. M. Lt. Nicholas Warren Michael Taylor, USAF, age 22, became a Heavenly Warrior in God’s kingdom on August 26, 2017.

Nick was the son of Lori E. North and Mark R. and Anne E. Taylor. He attended LaSalle High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati.

He began his lifelong dream of serving his country at Hurlburt Field AFB, Ft. Walton, FL and was on training assignment in San Antonio, TX when Christ called him home.

Throughout his life, Nick was a faithful and passionate servant of Christ and volunteered in many capacities at Crossroads Uptown Church. Nick had a smile that lit up even the darkest room, a hug that gave the assurance of security, and words of faith and wisdom well beyond his years. While our hearts may ache for the loss of our beloved young man, we know that he is joyously fulfilling his highest calling to serve our Lord.

Nick was preceded in death by his grandfather, Warren E. North, Jr. and is survived by his parents, his siblings Max Snyder and Madison Snyder, his grandparents Michael and Corrine Taylor, Gail (Greg) North-Tasto, and Lois H. Ross, his aunt and Godmother Erica (Dwayne) Zinger, his great-aunt Lynda Taylor, his great uncle and Godfather Dave (Patti) North, his cousins Evan North, Steven (Katie) Taylor, Lauren Taylor, and Godchildren Sierra Zinger, Zayden Zinger, and Skyla Zinger, and his lifelong friend, Tony Eich. Nick’s family also included his brothers and sisters in his ROTC detachment, Crossroads Uptown and his mission group, GoNicaragua.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, September 1, at Crossroads Uptown, 42 Calhoun Street, Cincinnati, OH 45219. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, at Crossroads Uptown followed by the burial with military honors in Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Nicholas Taylor GoMission Fund at any 5/3 Bank location to help fund students in their calling to serve Christ throughout the world.
