Jacqueline retired from Ameritech in Detroit after 32 years of service. After retirement, she went to work as a Flight Attendant for Compass Airline for 7 years.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Dayton, class of 1970. She was a member of Greater St. John Baptist Church in Dayton.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Smiley Alexander Evans; sons, Reggie Evans, Byron Evans; her mother, Bertie Parrish; sisters, Linda Parrish, Sandra (Zachary) Wright; brothers, Larry Parrish, Curtis Parrish, Michael Parrish; step-daughters, Michele (Kevin) Shehee, Carla Evans, Yolanda Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends.
