Born in Johnston, she was one of eleven children of Mauro and Maria (Cardillo) Macera. She had lived in Johnston for most her life. Along with her husband, she owned Cherry Hill Nurseries in Johnston.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Parys and her husband, Joseph of Smithfield, her son, Frederick Lombardo, of California and a sister, Louise Scungio of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Pasco, Vito, Ralph, Michael and Anthony Macera, Evelyn Altrui, Margaret Mulhearn, Madeline Cece and Mary Lepore.
Her funeral will be from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial in St. Ann's Cemetery.
