Mrs. Penn Eckles dies at Britt; Rites Monday

BRITT – Mrs. Penn Eckles, died Thursday at her home here.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church here preceded by a prayer service at the Osman Funeral Home. The Rev. Warren S. Paige will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Surviving are her husband, former state representative and county supervisor; a son, Forrest, Britt; two daughters, M. F. Greiman, Garner; Alfred Bottaro, Covina, Calif.; two brothers and five sisters.

Relatives who attended the funeral services of Mrs. Penn Eckles at the Methodist church at Britt Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McCutcheon, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Trotter, Mrs. Jennie Bjornson, Mrs. Clifford Axon, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Oviatt and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Axon, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stevenson, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stevenson, Frank Stevenson and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McCutcheon.

Mrs. Eckels had been in poor heath for some time. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery at Goldfield.
