Lynn was born on June 21, 1956 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Hugh Sr. and Jerlene Howell. He was a graduate of Northside High School’s Class of 1974 and was an avid Northside Eagle fan. Lynn worked as an ironworker for many years at Atlanta Iron Workers, Local 387 before retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and bird hunting. However, his greatest joy came from time spent with his beloved family.

Along with his parents, his son, Nathan Howell, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 30 years Debbie Howell of Kathleen; children, Jason Howell (Michele) of Dublin, Nicholas Howell (Shawna) of Kathleen, and Kourtney Reed (Shane) of Kathleen; grandchildren, Savanah Howell, Caitlyn Morrow, Jacob Millis, Christopher Morrow, Christian Millis, Nicholas Howell, Gage Howell, Bailee Rayne Reed, Nathan Howell, and great-granddaughter, Charlie Marie Howell.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral services will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough burial will be private. At the family’s request, please dress casual.
