NEW CUMBERLAND — Jeanne Lynn Gibson, 67, of New Cumberland, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born March 2, 1950 in Follansbee, W.Va. a daughter of the late Thomas C. Jones, Sr. & Norma Ruth (Harris) Jones. She is also preceded in death by her husband Richard James Gibson in 2014, a brother Thomas C. Jones, Jr., and a sister Janice Ellen Jones.
Jeanne retired from the Hancock County Courthouse as an Election Clerk, was a member of the Everyday Church, Point Pleasant Ladies Aide and Never Alone.
Surviving are her sons Jim (Melinda) Gibson, Jr. and Michael (Cindy Graham) Gibson both of New Cumberland, W.Va.; a sister Kitty Chaplin Chesterton, Ind. and 3 grandchildren.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery New Manchester, W.Va.
