Opal Crisler
MATTOON — Opal R. Crisler, 79, of Mattoon, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday (July 20, 1999) at her residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with the Rev. Van J. Frownfelter officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Mattoon, the daughter of Henry and Leora Phelps Heritage. She married Marvin V. Crisler in 1943. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Larry J. Crisler of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Orval (Dorothy) Simmons and Edith Heritage, both of Mattoon; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Crisler was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God.
