Their nine children were George Washington Horton, Sinnie M. "Fannie" Horton Gilbert, Sara "Sallie" Horton Lane Saunders, Jesse "Jess" Horton, William "Willie" Horton, Albert Franklin Horton, Clarence Lee Horton, Rebecca Ann Elizabeth Horton Wright Jarrett, and Walter Claiborne Horton. Although King David's death certificate lists his date of birth as 1 Aug. 1856, Bible records suggest he was born 31 Aug. 1856.
