Mrs. Joe Ella Tackett Is Laid To Rest
Mrs. Joe Ella Tackett, 80, who died Friday afternoon at her home on Third Avenue South, were held Saturday at two p.m. with Rev. Tom C. Perry officiating. Interment followed in the city cemetery, Brown directing.
The deceased is survived by her husband; one son, Tom Prince; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mattie Jones of Beaumont, Texas and two step-sons, L.M. Tackett of Moulton and David Tackett of the U.S. Army.

Joe Ella Prince married David R. Tackett on Feb. 3, 1913 in Morgan County, Alabama. She had been married to a Prince earlier.
