Came down from Canada in 1600's. Betsy's brother was the Chief of the tribe. Her grandfather, Capt. John David Ayers buried in Ayers cem in Calhoun county,Florida. Betsy is buried in Pulaski county,Ga, unk location. Her oldest son, William B Tipton 1874 to 1936 died in car accident in Gasden County,Fl and buried in Decatur County,Ga (unk site). Daughter, Edna D Tipton born in 1879, Edna maried a Phillips. Daughter, Domedna S "Domedney" Tipton 1882-1942
